Police investigate Newtown Hit-and-Run

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has identified Marlon Francis as the victim of a hit-and-run incident that occurred early yesterday morning. Francis tragically succumbed to his injuries following the accident.

     

    In an media statement, police confirmed that the fatal traffic accident took place between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. along Newtown Bay Road, near the SOL fuel facility.

     

    Upon arrival at the scene, officers observed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) technicians tending to the male victim, identified as Francis. He was promptly transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for medical care but passed away shortly thereafter.

     

    The RSCNPF have collected several items of evidential value from the scene.
