BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- Police have provided additional details regarding the shooting incident that occurred on May 3rd, resulting in the death of one individual and prompting concerns about the crime issue in the federation.
In a statement, authorities confirmed their ongoing investigation into the incident, which took place in Dorset Village, St. Kitts. The shooting occurred between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., claiming the life of 21-year-old Kejanie Harvey from Parray’s Extension, St. Peter.
According to the police report, officers arrived at the scene to find Harvey with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that Harvey was confronted by two armed individuals riding a motor scooter, who quickly fled following the attack.
