BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A young entrepreneur has her sight set on expanding her home-operated business and has much to offer, not only to those who wish to give their loved ones a Valentine’s Day special but also anyone who desires to host an event anytime of the year.
This young entrepreneur is Hazel Jeffers of Ponds Pasture, Newtown, who told SKNVibes Business that she started a business named Party N Style approximately 10 years ago and since then it has grown significantly.
She disclosed that she caters for almost every event including birthday parties and activities on the annually celebrated Mother’s Day.
“I am into events. I do anything with events such as birthday parties and functions. I am also into celebrations…I cater for any kind of celebration,” Jeffers said.
The young businesswoman said that she intends to expand her business, noting that she has the ability to be very creative.
“I am a very creative person, so I intend to continue with this,” she said.
Jeffers said that since she opened the establishment, many people have been encouraging her to continue producing the quality service that she provides. Jeffers also noted that she had heeded their advice and she has received tremendous support over the years.
Tameka Lewis, a teacher at the Dr. William Connor Primary School, who regularly supports Jeffers, was high in praise of her ability and products. She said many of her students have ordered Valentine‘s Day packages from the entrepreneur, noting that she is impressed with the quantity and quality of the baskets that Jeffers has to offer for this special lovers’ day.
“You are certainly getting your money’s worth and that is why she continues to have good customer responses, because she provides what they want,” Lewis said.
Lewis said some of her students have ordered baskets and other items that are on sale, stating that she firmly believes Jeffers' market shares are rapidly growing due to the evident popularity of her business.
The teacher explained that it was only a few months ago she had acquired Jeffers’ services for her three-year-old daughter’s party, and so satisfied was she that two days after she again contracted her again for a party that a friend held.
“Her service and quality is very good and that is why she continues to be in great demand, as people want to know that what they are paying for is worth the price,” she said.
Jeffers said she has many gifts sets on sale ranging from EC$15 to EC$300 and advised that persons could place their order via telephone number 466-6731.
She added that it is not just chocolates that are on sale for Valentine’s Day but fruit baskets as well, noting that the baskets are diversified so as to guarantee customers satisfaction.
“I trust that persons out there would capitalise on the excellent price so that they can get something special for the love one in their life,” she said.
