Island Purified Water launches Island Flavours

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- ISLAND Purified Water has launched a new product, ‘Island Flavours’, just in time to beat the heat this summer. The non-carbonated fruit soft drink is packaged in 13 ounce pouches by the Newton Ground based company and is said to be both economical and nutritious.

The product comes in five fruity and delicious flavours - orange, pineapple, banana, strawberry and fruit-punch - and Aurelie Buchanan, Business & Marketing Consultant of Island Purified Water informed SKNVibes.com that more flavours “are in the making”.

“Island Flavours are available wholesale from the producer in packages of 25 and the retail price of one pouch is extremely affordable.  The packaging is unmarked at present but this will soon be remedied once the new set of ‘Island Flavours’ labelled pouches are received. This is a product that parents should welcome to help cut costs bearing in mind the current trend of rising food prices,” she said.

 The juice was described by Buchanan as having a “fruity refreshing flavour with just the right balance of sweetness”. 

Customers will be pleased to hear that the drinks contain natural fruit juices, which guarantee good nutritional value and the ingredients used in production meet the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards of Canada.

According to Buchanan, the initiative to diversify from bottled water into other beverages was something Leroy Powell, the owner and General Manager of Island Purified Water had contemplated for some time.  

“Earlier this year an experimental batch of the beverage was produced and the response from the test market was so overwhelming that Powell was heartened to start its production on a larger scale,” she stated.

Vendors and interested parties should note that a 20% discount off the new product will run from Thursday 3rd to Monday 7th July in commemoration of the One-Day International Home Cricket Series.
