16 artistes expected at Tempo’s Independence Mega Show

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - FREDERICK MORTON Jr., CEO Tempo Networks.com, this morning confirmed that 16 artistes are expected to perform at the Tempo All Night Show scheduled to be held on September 19, the day the Federation marks its 25th Independence Anniversary.
The show will start at 7:00 p.m. at a new venue called FM Entertainment Grounds, situated at Long Point, Nevis.
According to Morton, “The stage is almost done” and artists already listed to participate at the show include Machel Montano HD, Patrice Roberts and Farmer Nappy, Destra, the Mighty Sparrow, David Rudder, Claudette Peters, Wayne Marshall, Davilee, Etana, Denise Belfon, Ziggy Ranking and the artist behind ‘Badness Outaa Style’ – Mr King, Kasanova Band and King Bingi.
Tempo’s DJs that will warm up the show are Jahbami, Nikki D, Jamie Thomas, Lydia Patel while comedienne Rachel Price from Trinidad will host the show.
The Nevis Cultural Development Foundation is the principal sponsor of the show, and other sponsors include Liat, Tropical Shipping, Carib Beer, Nelson Springs Condo, Cable and Wireless, Lefco, Four Seasons Resort, Mount Nevis Hotel, TDC and Horsfords.
Ticket for the show can be had from the Nevis Cultural Development Foundation, Caribbean Styles’ The Fashion House, Chapter One Bookstore, Hanley’s Road Superette, Star Insurance Agency, Rumours Restaurant (Newcastle), The Squeeze Up Bar (Brick Kiln), Lydia Parris, and Sharon Tyrell at the bMobile office.
The outlets on sister island, St. Kitts, are Island Hopper, bMobile office and Pennyfeather’s Ticket Shop on Fort Street.
