Bread price to increase in 9 days

THE rumors that have circulated throughout the Federation for weeks regarding an increase in the price of bread and bakery products was confirmed by Ministry of Trade officials yesterday.According to a press release which quotes H.E. Government predicts ‘unparalleled tourism growth’ in spite of external threats

Nevis Land and Housing Minister Visits Trinidad to Negotiate US $15 Million Loan

NEVIS’ Land and Housing Minister Robelto Hector arrived in Trinidad on Thursday in efforts to settle a US $15 million loan earmarked to finance the acquisition of 730 acres of land in the Pinney’s area. The Nevis delegation included General Manager of the Nevis Housing and Land Development Corporation (NHLC), Eustace Nisbett, and Nevis Island Administration (NIA) Legal Advisor Patrice Nisbett. Police hunt for two in St. Kitts

POLICE have issued a wanted bulletin for two men who were involved in two separate violent incidents in Basseterre and Cayon over the past month.A police press release issued late yesterday afternoon identified the two wanted men as Terrence Ritchen of Mad House Alley, Newtown and Marcus Charles of Cayon but whose last residence was given as Challengers.Ritchen is wanted in connection with a June 21, 2008 incident of causing grievous bodily harm, which occurred at Pitcairn Street, Basseterre.  [ Read More... ]
