BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AFTER producing hits such as ‘She’s Royal’ - which serves as the women’s anthem - ‘Parables’ and ‘Beware’, Jamaican reggae singer Tarrus Riley is now embarking on journey to give his fans another album of positive, conscience reggae music.

The new album, ‘Contagious’, is scheduled for an August release and includes ‘Musical Contagious’, ‘Start a New’, ‘Save the Children’ and ‘Stop Watching’, among other tracks.

Riley forthrightly addresses the wicked act of violence against women in ‘Start A New’ (produced by Shane Brown), urging the song’s female protagonist to leave her abusive man. As a means of calling greater attention to this malady, Riley has established a non-funded, anti domestic violence campaign.

Some of the more standout tracks include ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, ‘Don’t Judge’ and Why so Much Wickedness’.

Stephen Marley, Shane Brown, Dean Fraser and DeMarco are some of the producers who polished Contagious to perfection, making it into a successful reggae album.

Riley was quoted as saying, "It’s very personal. Me a do new things, me a experiment with singing, style, lyrics and tempos.”
