Death Announcement
Regrettably, we announce the death of Leontinah Thompson affectionately known as Miriam formerly of Cole Hill, but who resided for many years at St. Johnson’s Village, Basseterre, St. Kitts, and more recently at Stoney Grove, Charlestown died at the age of 100 years.
The sad event took place on Saturday 31st October.
Ms. Thompson is survived by:-
1 Daughter: Sylvanie Thompson at Home;
1 Daughter-in-law: Sylvia Thompson in St. Thomas;
19 Grand Children: Leroy and Tony Peets, Vernon Sutton, Shirley, Thompson and Bernadette Rawlins in Tortola, Hugh Thompson in St. Thomas, Chaplin Kevin Thompson, Lornette Forbes, Kenneth (Balah) Thompson and Spencer Brand, Elvis, Alton, Patrina, Keith, Alphonso, Mitch, Ashford and Leon Thompson and Myris Joseph at home;

Close Friends: Rev. Janetta James and the Congregation of St. Johnston Methodist Church, Gene Ward, Claudette Clarke, Mr. & Mrs. Sydney Matthew, Shakry Keith and their families, all her neighbours and friends in St. Kitts, Department and Vendor at Basseterre Public Market and workers at the La-Gruite Agricultural Station.
The funeral service for the late Leontinah Thompson better known as Miriam will be held on Thursday 5th at 2.30p.m. at the Charlestown Methodist Church and the interment will be at the Bath Cemetery. The body of the late Leontinah Thompson better known as Miriam can be viewed at the Church as from 2.00p.m.
