(Basseterre; St. Kitts): A body was found Wednesday, November 1, at a building under construction on Rosemary lane on the opposite side of the Ray of Hope Preschool.
Sknvibes.com understands that police were informed sometime around 11 a.m. that a body was spotted in the septic area of the building's compound.
Immediately Police secured the area barring persons from walking down the lane as the carried out their investigations.
At one point reporters were even chased from the back of the Clico Life Insurance building overlooking the street by police who said the reporters were interrupting the investigation.
The Public Relations Officer for the Police Department at sometime after 1 a.m. did not disclose to the press if it was a male or female body that was found or the identity of the body.
People stood outside in the street looking on as the day unfold, hoping to get a glimpse of the body.
A compressor and a jackhammer were brought in by the Public Work's Department that aided in the recovering of the body before it was carried out in a hearse.
Up to press time Police did not confirm whether it was the body of the late Michelle Weekes-Benjamin who had gone missing since Sunday evening, October 29.

Benjamin is a resident of the Carifesta Village, St. Peters.
On Monday, October, 30, family members became alarmed as Benjamin had not showed up to work and had not been seen or heard from since 11:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Benjamin is described as being medium built, dark in complexion, 5- 6" in height and has light brown eyes.
