Incumbent dethroned! Hamilton wins seat by a mere 31 votes. He lost by some 86 during the 2004 general elections.

Richards won #5 by 131 in 04. His victory is a boost to PAM, which has been defeated in every other St. Kitts constituency where final results have been tallied. #1 and #8 remain.

Welsh would like to thank those who voted for him in #3, but said that voting irregularities made him suspicious of the result. Plans to contest seat next election.
