Green Valley 2008 Queen Pagent Contestants
The Queen Show will be held on Friday 9th May 2008.

The Green Valley Festival announces its 12^th Annual Miss Green Valley Queen Pageant. The event takes place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday May 9^th, 2008 at the Festival Village, Maynard’s Park, Cayon.  Six beautiful and talented young ladies will this year vie for this prestigious title.  They are Blondelle Hanley, sponsored by Kajola Kristada Ltd., Akelia Huggins, sponsored by F & H Frisco Ltd. and Parris Shopping Center, Cheroma Browne, sponsored by Woodsrite Enterprise, Grace Percival, sponsored by The Cable, Shantelle Jeffers, sponsored by Grant’s Ice-Cream Parlour and Kurlyn Harvey, sponsored by British American.  According to Ms. Velda Irish of the Queen Show Sub-Committee, ‘this year’s show will continue with the tradition of excellence that everyone expects from the Green Valley Festival and promises to be the best ever.’ There will be a packed side-show and the girls will make several promotional appearances during the coming weeks so the general public can become familiar with faces.  The General public is also invited to participate in this year’s pageant by voting on this site for the most photogenic contestant and the results will be announced on the night of the show.
