POSITION: Senior Sales Clerk
- Greet customers promptly and courteously.
- Assist with sales
- Provide back up for cashier when he/she is at lunch.
- Assist with Hire Purchase transactions.
- Complete Hire Purchase applicants’ files to submit to the Credit Department.
- Assist with receiving and dispatching merchandise, physically and electronically.
- Maintain close working relationship with warehouse personnel, deliverymen and other sales clerks.
- Assuage dissatisfied customers through prompt resolution of any product or service concern that may arise.
- Ensure orderly upkeep of the store.
- Pricing and tagging of merchandise.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the Manager.
- Minimum of four (4) CXC general ‘O’ level passes and/or a sound secondary education.
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to function effectively during periods of heavy work loads and without constant supervision.
- Must be computer literate.
