BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, April 8, 2017 (PLP PR Media Inc.) -- Political Leader of the Peoples Labour Party (PLP) Dr the Hon Timothy Harris will on Sunday April 9 be joined by the newly elected National Executive of his party for worship at the Liberty New Testament Church of God on Bamboo Street in Molineaux at 10:00 am.

This is the first worship service the PLP National Executive is attending since it was elected to office at the inaugural and historic National Convention that was held at Tabernacle on Saturday March 25.

“For all things we must find time to thank the Almighty God,” said Dr Harris, who is also the Prime Minister of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. “Our Convention exceeded our expectations where we saw a massive turnout, even though it was the first such event to be held in rural St. Kitts. In all what took place on that day we saw God’s hand at work and in the spirit of Unity, the PLP National Executive will join myself and colleagues in worship to give thanks for our blessings and to pray for the Lord’s guidance going forward.”

The Political Party Leader thanked the dynamic National Executive which has shown willingness to move the Party forward and added: “Worshipping together will give us time to reflect on how the Lord has blessed the people of St. Kitts and Nevis and as a party, and a country, we pledge to continuously seek His guidance as we strengthen the party with the ultimate aim of further strengthening the Team Unity Movement.”

Members of the new National Executive, Constituency Branch officials, party supporters and well-wishers from around St. Kitts will be attending the worship service. Presiding at the worship service will be Pastor Augustine Shelford.
