$10K reward offered for info into Gregory Mills’ murder

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who may have information that could assist their sleuths in bringing a closure to investigations into the murder of Gregory Mills.

     

    Mills, a young entrepreneur who had owned and operated Greg’s Pizza next to Morton’s Supermarket on Cayon Street in Basseterre, was gunned down while driving in the Gillard Meadows area in the St. Peter’s Parish on Tuesday (May 9), just one day shy of his 28th birth anniversary.

    Information reaching SKNVibes stated that some time before 6:00 p.m., the businessman was shot multiple times by an assailant(s) and had died at the scene.

    According to a police communiqué, Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for Crime, Andre Mitchell stated that the reward is being offered to solicit information to move the investigation forward.  

    Mitchell is asking anyone who was in the area of the shooting incident and saw something or might have heard something “to come forward.”

    “Persons with information are asked to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 465-4221, any police station, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS) or by using the SKN Crime Reporter App to provide the police with the information,” the communiqué read.
     
    Last week, police had informed that two persons were in custoday assisting with investigations into this matter, but since then no word was  heard from the law enforcement organisation about them. 

    Gregory Mills’ death had taken to 10 the number of homicides committed in the Federation for this year; five on each island.
