BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A young mother of three who resides in the Sandy Point area was the latest recipient of Kajola Kristada’s Employee of the Month Award.
Jessica Daniel, 35, was selected as the company’s Employee of the Month for July and was elated to have gotten the nod.
When SKNVibes visited the company’s Industrial Site location, it was observed that the elegantly attired Daniel stood out from amongst her fellow employees and she was all smiles.
The young woman, who has been in the company’s employ for approximately 18 years, proudly stated that she finds working at Kajola Kristada “an enjoyable experience”.
“I enjoy my work!” she exclaimed. “I enjoy coming into work every day and being around the people in my section.”
Assigned to the SMT Line Section, Daniel pointed out that she believes it was her hard work and dedication that saw her being given the award.
“I am a hard worker, anywhere they put me I always do my best. So I think that is why I got the award.”
Her Line leader, Juliana Griffin, echoed a similar sentiment and added that Daniel deserved the award.
Griffin told SKNVibes that Daniel should have been awarded long before this year July, but she was not due an attendance problem.
“Jessica is a wonderful worker and she is very dependable. If she leaves back work, she would come in very early in the morning to get the job done and we can really count on her.
“It has been due to her for a very long time and the thing that we look at is the attendance, but often she would have to go out and stuff like that.”
For July, Griffin noted that “she was on target and that is why she is all smiles today”.
The Line leader wished Daniel well in her future endeavours and congratulated her on her success on behalf of the department and the company by extension.
In response, Daniel thanked the company for recognizing her contributions and vowed to continue in the same vein.
