ARREST AND BAIL:
Arrested: Vincent Francis was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of cultivation and possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply.
Arrested: T-Sean Hendricks of Ottley's Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Building breaking and larceny. Offence was committed between 11th and 13th February 2017 at First class Jewelry on Port Zante.
Arrested: Jed Kreuser of Frigate Bay was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offense of Driving motor jeep without Insurance.
Arrested/Bailed: Bruce Roberts Of Bakers Corner, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply. He was granted bail in the sum of in the sum of $5000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday, 11th September, 2017.
Arrested/Bailed: Ricardo Thomas of Tabernacle was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Obstruction which was committed on the Monday 14th August 2017, He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court District B on the 11th September, 2017.
Arrested/Bailed: Sarbina Cannegieter of Halfway Tree was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of larceny, which was committed on the Tuesday 15th August 2017 at Kings Pavillion II at the Bay Road. She was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on the 11th September, 2017.
Arrested/Bailed: Ena Nisbett of Ponds Extension was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of disorderly conduct by fighting. He was granted bail in the sum of $3000.00 for her appearance at the Basseterre magistrate Court on Monday, 11th September, 2017.
Arrested/Bailed: Kerricia Francis of Buckley Estate was arrested formally charged and cautioned for the offences of disorderly conduct by fighting. He was granted bail in the sum of $3000.00 with her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday, 11th September, 2017.
Arrested/Bailed: Oral Mc Leod of Bladens Housing was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of driving without a valid drivers license, and not covered by insurance and driving without due care and attention. He was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 EC
Bailed: Ziggy Caines of Sandy Point who was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply which was committed on August 10th 2017, he was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on Monday, 11th September, 2017
Bailed: Calvin Archibald of Sandy Point who was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply which was committed on August 10th 2017, he was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on Monday 11th September, 2017.
Bailed: Devorn Hodge of Half way Tree who was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply which was committed on August 10th 2017, he was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on Monday, 11th September, 2017.
Bailed: Llewellyn Warner of Soho Village, Sandy Point who was charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of cannabis with Intent to Supply, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply, he was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay, Magistrate Court on Monday, 11th September, 2017.
COURT CONVICTIONS:
In Matters at the Basseterre Magistrate's Court the following convictions were recorded:
-Gustavo DeCastro Alves of Brazil was fined $5,000.00 to be paid in (1) one week or if in default serve (3) three months Imprisonment for the offence of simple larceny committed at Timothy Beach Resort on Wednesday 26th -July-2017.
-Gustavo Luiz DaSilva and Romerlo Silvo Gomes, both of Brazil were also fined $5,000.00 to be paid in (1) one week or if in default serve (3) three months imprisonment. They were ordered to pay the following compensation to Timothy Beach Resort namely, Alves $300.00, DaSilva $2,000.00 and Gomes $1,800.00 to be paid in one week or serve three months Imprisonment.
COURT CONVICTIONS:
In Matters at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court presided over by Her Honour Mrs. Karen Hill-Hector the following Convictions were reported:
-Sean Williams of Dieppe Bay who was charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to supply committed on Sunday 12th March 2017 was convicted and fined $20,000 ECD to be paid by Saturday 14th September 2017 or if in default serve (6) six months in prison.
-Kenroy Harvey of Saddlers Village who was charged for Possession of Cannabis committed on Wednesday 9th November 2016 was convicted and fined $2,000 to be paid by Thursday 14th September 2017 or in default serve thirty (30) days in prison.
-Lester Tross aka "8-ball" of Newtown, Basseterre who was charged for driving without insurance and driving without license committed on Sunday 12th March 2017 was convicted and fined $300 ECD on both charges or if in default serve thirty (30) days in prison.
OTHER ACTIVITY:
Search Warrants Executed: Police executed number of Search Warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Phillips Village, Ottley's Village, Douglas Estate ( St. Paul's), Pond Road, Stapleton Housing (St .Paul's), West Street (Tabernacle), Bakers Corner, Molineaux, Frigate Bay, The warrants were executed in search of illegal firearms and ammunition, illegal drugs, and instruments that can be used in criminal activity.
Abandoned Properties: Police continues to execute searches of abandoned properties; most recent searches were done in the following areas: Lower Shaw Ave, Carty Alley, Upper Cayon, Market Street, Malone Ave, Cardin Ave and Adams Hill, Baker5s Corner and Molineaux.
House Breaking and Larceny: Police responded to (4) four reports of House Breaking and Larceny that occurred during the period of this report in the following areas: Atlantic View, Frigate Bay, Mount Idle Sandy- Point, Pitcairn Street (Newtown) and The Alley Sandy Point.
Citizen Safety: Police continue to conduct stop and searches, vehicular check points, searches of ferry terminals and marinas and mobile patrols around the Federation. These are being done in efforts to remove illegal firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs and instruments that can be used to commit crimes from our communities.
