HURRICANE Maria FLOW Reminds the Public to Exercise Caution with Cables

By: FLOW, Press Release

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts & Nevis (September 18th, 2017) – FLOW is reminding the public that the heavy winds and rain which may affect the island due to the effects of Hurricane Maria may cause some of the company’s cables to come loose from poles or to be shifted out of position.

In most cases where this occurs, if the cable is not broken, service will remain uninterrupted. FLOW is therefore strongly appealing to members of the public not to cut or otherwise damage these cables.

FLOW is also appealing to the public not to burn leaves or other debris under its cables as this could cause severe damage and disrupt service.

Additionally, FLOW is urging customers to ensure that the batteries for both their mobile handsets and their cordless fixed lined phones are always fully charged and emergency numbers should be programmed in memory for fast dialing if necessary.
