On the afternoon of Tuesday 27th February, 2007 25 years old Nigel Hanley alias Daffy of Molineaux Village was found dead along the island main road to Bourryeau.
The Commissioner of police is appealing to persons who may have information in relation to this crime to cooperate with the police. The Commissioner of police wishes to reassure the General Public that the Security Forces will continue to utilize all available recourses in addressing all firearms related incidents that have occurred in the Federation. The Commissioner wishes to solicit the assistance of the Public with information relating to persons in possession of unlicensed firearms. Information can be communicated anonymously by dialing telephone number 707, which is a toll free number.
The Security Forces through the Illegal Firearm Recovery Unit will be unrelenting in their efforts to rid the streets of this Federation of all Illegal weapons and call upon all citizens of the Federation to assist them in this initiative.
