·         Wilson George of Sandy Point who was charged with the offence of "Possession of a Controlled Drug" to wit cannabis, committed on 14^th February 2007 was convicted and fined $1,500.00 to be paid in two (2) weeks or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment with hard labour.

·         Adorington Govia of Basseterre, who was charged with the offence of "Malicious Damage" committed on 17^th November 2006, was convicted and sentenced to serve two (2) months imprisonment with hard labour.

At the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 26^th February 2007, Cleon Carty of Upper Shaw Avenue, who was charged with the offence of "Wounding With Intent" committed on 21^st October 2006, was committed to stand trial at the May 2007 Criminal Assizes. He was also granted bail in the sum of $50,000.00 for his appear at the said assizes.

At the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 27^th February 2007, Alister Henderson of Conyers who was charged with offence of "Malicious Damage" was convicted and sentenced to serve two months imprisonment with hard labour.~~adz:Right~~

On Monday 26^th January 2007, Terrance Casey alias "Donkey" of Newtown was charged with the offence of "Larceny" committed on 15^th December 2006 at Kings Pavillion.

On Monday 26^th January 2007, a thirteen-year-old male of the Sandy Point area was charged with the offences of "Being armed with an offensive weapon" and "Battery".

The Criminal Investigations Department is investigating a robbery that took place on Monday 26^th February 2007 at the Circus in front of the First Caribbean International Bank, where a female was robbed of bag containing an undisclosed sum of money. A male adult of the Sandy Point area is presently in police custody assisting with the investigation.
