Man still missing; searches yield nothing

Basseterre, St. Kitts: After over a week of searching, there is still no sign of 55 year old Marcel Berry, of Newton Ground, who was reported missing on last Monday, September 24th .

Members of the Police Force, the Defence Force and the Fire and Rescue Services have been spearheading the search for the missing man. Searches have been conducted in the whole Newton Ground and portions of St. Paul’s and Sandy Point.
~~Adz:Right~~ There has been some suspicion with regards to Berry’s disappearance as unconfirmed reports indicate that he was accustomed to carry large amounts of cash on his person.
Two young men were picked up by the Police and questioned in connection with the disappearance but they have been released.
There are speculations that there was a rift between Berry and some young men, as it was alleged that the young men repeatedly stole provisions from his farm.
The search continues and appeal goes out to anyone who has any information with regards to Berry’s disappearance to immediately inform the Police.
