Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 14th, 2011 -- With just a few days away, the Children’s Dance Theatre’s CHRISTMAS BY THE BUS STOP recently received a big boost when additional corporate partners signed on as sponsors.

“The staff and dancers are very excited about the partnerships established with Giant Malt, Premier Planners, Ting, Pink Splash Media and Ginseng Up” said Director Julie Martin who welcomed their assistance stating that it will ensure another dazzling Christmas production.

She further went on to applaud these entities for joining National Bank, the first corporate entity to indicate its sponsorship of the group’s recital.  She opined that the assistance from these local corporate houses will assure another spectacular  presentation of rhythmically explosive dances and dazzling costumes.

Additionally, she was of the view that the upcoming showcase of young talent continues to assure a bright and prosperous future for dance in particular and the performing arts in general.

CHRISTMAS BY DE BUS STOP will feature brand new pieces choreographed by an elite group of tutors namely, Julie Martin, Heidi Slack, Shara- Lee Mourillon, Shanda Labega, Krystal Glasford, Nekirah Nicholls, Tama Martin and Xia Claxton.

Enhancing this year’s Christmas production will be The Fire Flies Dance School, Creative Sole, The CFBC Dance Ensemble and Range who will all combine their stage artistry as guest performers at the pristine Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium on Saturday December 17th  at 7 p.m and Sunday 18th at 5 p.m.

Tickets have already gone on sale at Morton’s Supermarket, their sole ticket outlet and according to reliable sources there, they are moving very briskly.
