    City Drug Store (2005) Limited endorses Youth HIV/AIDS Initiative

    Basseterre, St. Kitts
    - Students of the Sandy Point High School’s Youth Voices against HIV/AIDS Group have taken their advocacy stance to a new level by developing a Campaign that targets students and the wider Community, through the assistance of the City Drug Store (2005) Limited.
     
    In a brief ceremony held at the Store, one of the Project Coordinators, Ms. Kit Evans and student representatives received several stationary supplies to produce a series of posters and banners to further the message of awareness and prevention.
     
    Mr. Percival Hanley, General Manager of the City Drug Store (2005) Limited made the presentation to the Organization and spoke of the importance of supporting the project from a Corporate standpoint.
     
    “We recognize the important role that HIV/AIDS education plays in our ever-changing society and fully support this Youth based venture. Moreover, we deem it a pleasure to play our part as a Corporate Citizen in advancing such a worthy cause,” expressed Hanley.
     
    In accepting the materials Ms. Kit Evans, expressed her gratitude to Mr. Hanley for the generous gesture on behalf of the Group and by extension, the School. ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    “On behalf of the Youth Voices against HIV/AIDS and by extension the Sandy Point High School, we are very grateful to you and the City Drug Store for your generous support. Your backing for this project will go a long way in ensuring that it is a success,” stated Ms. Evans.
     
    Youth Voices against HIV/AIDS was established to educate, motivate, and challenge students to promote safe and healthy sexual lifestyles, as well as, become change agents to combat the pandemic.
