BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE three beauties, who represented St. Kitts in the 11th annual Miss Venus Model Caribbean Competition on Saturday night (Jun. 15) in Anguilla, all did well with two of them successfully capturing top positions.
Twenty-year-old Patricia Clarke placed First Runner-up while 27-year-old Amelia Browne walked away with the Second Runner-up position and the Miss Photogenic award.
Clarke is the reigning LIME Miss Black San Swimsuit and Browne is the reigning Miss National Bank White Sands Swimsuit.
The 2013 Miss Venus Model Caribbean Queen Competition was won by Sydnelia Richardson from St. Maarten. She also won the Miss Congeniality award.
The other representative from St. Kitts, Desiree Herbert, was adjudged winner of the Best Introduction and Best Interview segments.
She had placed First Runner-up in the 2012 Miss National Bank White Sands Swimsuit Competition.
This year’s competition was held at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre and the eight contestants hailed from the host island, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.
