BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 2nd, 2013 -- The curtains of the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium will soon open to reveal a kaleidoscope of dance art compliments the Fireflies Dance School. Eighty young dancers are sparkling with anticipation as their scheduled show date, July 7th 2013, quickly approaches.
Under the tutelage of their director, Heidi Slack along with tutors Kayla Farrell and Kaila Powell, they have been working relentlessly in hopes of presenting a masterpiece in this their eighth season of dance.
For one stunning evening, a palette of talented artistes will transform the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium into their canvas, delivering vibrant performances in music and dance.
Director Heidi Slack has described it as “an explosion of colour like no other”, and gleefully thanks the general public for continuously supporting The Fireflies Dance School as they utilize the art of dance to Paint the Stage and bring to life the colours that illuminate our world!
Art is in session at 5pm on Sunday July 7th 2013 at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium.
The Fireflies Dance School caters to dancers aged 3 - 10 (pre-school through Grade 4). It provides students with the highest quality of dance instruction that will help them gain a love and appreciation for the art of dance while improving their self esteem, confidence, imagination and creativity, teaching discipline and enhancing their sense of accomplishment.
