For its birthday the airline is applying a series of promotions and specials, dubbed “Appy October”, across digital platforms.

Throughout "Appy October", LIAT customers will have many chances to win discount vouchers each time they purchase a ticket online and free tickets through multiple competitions on liat.com. And, if a customer celebrates the same October 16 birthday as LIAT, they will travel for free.

Customers uploading photos which represent “Caribbean Fun, Caribbean Food, Caribbean People, and Caribbean Places” to LIAT Facebook and Pinterest pages can also win prizes.
Patrons who turn 57 between October 16 to 31 will win a $57 voucher towards their travels; and a weekend getaway for two is being offered to successful entrants in the “Where is Wanda?” restaurant competition.
