BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ALTHOUGH not winning any of the judged segments, Miss St. Lucia Louise Victor wowed the judges at Carnival Village Saturday evening (Oct. 19) and was crowned the 2013-2014 Caribbean Tourism Queen.
The First Runner-up position went to Miss Nevis Jomelle Elliott, who also won the awards for Best Performing Talent, Best Evening Wear and Miss Photogenic.
Miss Anguilla Taitu Goodwin was adjudged Second Runner-up while capturing the Swimwear Segment during the process.
Third Runner-up was Miss Trinidad and Tobago Keda Pascall, who captured the Ambassadorial Wear and Speech segments and the Miss Amity title.
Other participants were Miss Antigua and Barbuda Althea Richardson-Walter, Miss Jamaica Roneisha James and Miss Dominican Republic Fanny Hernandez.
Chairperson of the Caribbean Tourism Pageant Shelda Webster-Ham congratulated all the contestants on a job well done and noted that their performances were outstanding.
She indicated that the committee has already started planning the 2014-2015 Caribbean Tourism Queen Show, as they would be pushing to ensure an even better pageant.
