JOHN’S, Antigua, Jan 27, 2014 – The Management of LIAT (1974) Limited refers to reports regarding LI 775 en route from Antigua to Trinidad via St. Lucia today, Monday January 27, 2014.
Shortly before 11:00 am, the aircraft developed a steering defect while taxiing at the V.C. Bird International Airport. The aircraft was moved to the ramp where it’s being examined by the company’s maintenance staff and will undergo the necessary repairs before being returned to service.
Passengers are being accommodated on other LIAT services.
