BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SIX bold young women will be revealed to the public this Saturday (Mar. 1) as the contestants for the 2014 Lime Miss Black San’ Swimsuit Pageant.
According to pageant coordinator Treasa Wyatt, an overflow of indivudals made a bid to enter the competition and this forced the committee to choose six girls rather than the customary five.
“We had a large turnout of girls this year and we were forced to have the girls come in an audition. Of course they had to model in front of some judges and we asked them a question just like the night of the finals to see how they would respond,” Wyatt told SKNVibes Entertainment.
However, the event on Saturday will not be a sashing ceremony, because all the vivacious hopefuls are sponsored by Lime. But rather, it is to officially reveal the beauties to the public and also to officially launch the competition.
The launch will take place at the Palm Court Gardens at 6:00 pm. The Pageant is set to be held on April 20.
