Rotaract Club of St. Kitts celebrates World Rotaract Week 9th -15th March 2014

    March 11th, 2014  --  Every year the young professionals around the world celebrates World Rotaract Week, this is done during the week of 13th March to commemorate the founding of the first club in 1968.  This year will make 46 years of service through fellowship.

     

    World Rotaract Week is a time to focus on the success and importance of the Rotaract program.  This programme was designed to develop leadership skills and responsible citizen in our society through service to the community. Young professional adults between the age of 18 and 30 were targeted to capture the imagination of Rotarians.

    The Rotaract Club of St. Kitts was established in 1986 and has been contributing to the community by having their Annual Cardin Home Breakfast, Sponsoring of books and exams scholarships to high schools and planting trees in the Independence Square. 

    In recognition of World Rotaract Week from March 9th to 15th 2014 the club will host various activities to celebrate the 46th year milestone which will include church service at the Antioch Baptist Church, attend meetings with the local Rotary Clubs & a visit to the Irishtown Primary School.  

    The Rotaract Club of St. Kitts would like to take this opportunity to thank its sponsor club, the Rotary Club of St. Kitts & also the Rotary club of Liamigua who over the years have continued to give their support, assistance and resources to our club.
