The illegitimate Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Denzil Douglas and his surrogate Dr Gilbert are engaging in the politics of deception and distraction.
In his latest 'Ask the PM' programme, Prime Minister Douglas dishonestly sought to link me to what his Press Secretary described as acts of violence in Constituency #7. I am disappointed that once again, the man who continues to grab on to the office of the Prime Minister in spite his right to govern being invalidated continues to behave in such irresponsible ways.
The illegitimate Prime Minister knows that he ought not to prejudice any criminal investigation, by publishing his mischievous views. If he has information relevant to any criminal matter, the appropriate course of conduct would have been to supply such information to the police and allow them to conduct a professional investigation. It is regrettable that a leader at his age of retirement physically and mentally could never reach the stature of a statesman.
We will not be distracted from the People’s Mandate to bring Prosperity to ALL the people of St.Kitts and Nevis. We are committed to returning the power and prosperity back to ALL the people of St.Kitts-Nevis. We reject the belief and the practice of Dr. Douglas and his surrogates including Dr. Gilbert, that prosperity and power should be in the hands of a few.
The People of Constituency #7 and the people of the Federation know me and they know the truth and the truth will set us all free.
The truth is that Team UNITY exists to end the long colonial history of separatism because we are simply Better Together.

The Truth is Team UNITY and its Prosperity Agenda boasts plans that will ensure safe families, neighborhoods, community and people through modern, creative and enlightened crime fighting and youth development initiatives programmes.

The Team UNITY and its Prosperity Agenda will ensure that our people will no longer have to choose between buying food and medicine.
Dr. Douglas and Dr Gilbert are out of focus, out of touch and out of gas.
Rather than continue along this path of deception lies and mismanagement, the illegitimate Prime Minister should call the general elections now.
· By calling elections now our people will get to experience relief from VAT on Food, Medicine and Funeral expenses.
· By calling elections now, he will allow Team Unity to improve the delivery of health care at our hospitals.
· By calling elections now he will allow Team Unity to usher in universal early childhood education and make education absolutely free from preschool to secondary school.
· By calling elections now Team Unity will bring new life and strategy to an underperforming tourism industry.
· By calling elections now, our young people will have a real choice in finding and securing permanent and decent jobs.
· By calling elections now, Team Unity will resolve the high national debt and bring accountability and transparency to what is now seen as a slush fund in SIDF
· By calling elections now, our people’s pride can be restored in their country – its democracy and development.
The outgoing Prime Minister should no longer stand in opposition to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis. It is time for him to move on and let the country bloom again with new inspired leadership that is focused on the Prosperity for ALL the people of St.Kitts and Nevis.
