BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AFTER being out of the spotlight for a number of years, Kactus Entertainment, in collaboration with Island Auto Kactus, will this weekend enthrall over 1 500 expected patrons to its newest party called ‘Secrets/Nobody has to Know’.

In an exclusive interview with CEO of Kactus Entertainment, Romeo Parris, he told SKNVibes Entertainment that due to some difficulties the group had encountered a few years ago, the promotional brand had not hosted any of their signature parties.

Parris said that the rebirth of Kactus Entertainment took a numbers of years and intense planning by its seven new committee members to resuscitate what was once a great party experience for many in the Federation.

“This time it is different and much more organised, and it is now designed to showcase what we can do from the entertainment standpoint…So Kactus Entertainment has become a company. We have been here since 2006 and will continue to use here as a venue,” Parris explained.

The CEO also revealed that the team has big plans of expanding to a bigger facility in the near future. “All of the tickets that we had were sold out and I had to order 100 more; so we are set and ready for Saturday night.”

    The headline acts and performers

Kemar Donaldson, popularly known as ‘Kranium’ out of Kingston, Jamaica, will be the headline act for the Secrets/Nobody has to Know signature party.

The 24-year-old has shared the stage with artistes such as Gyptian, Serani, Jadakiss, I-Octane and Tarrus Riley. In 2011 he was awarded the ‘Artist of the Year’ in Queens, NY for his outstanding achievement as a newcomer in the entertainment industry.

Some of his famous hits are ‘Different Love’, ‘This Morning’, ‘Happiest Man Alive’, ‘Love For You’, ‘Another Saturday Night’, ‘Up and Away’ and the ever-popular ‘Nobody Has to Know’.

Kranium arrived in St. Kitts last evening (Apr. 5).

Also performing at tonight’s party and for a shot at the upcoming Music Festival is St. Kitts’s very own Hi-light. According to Parris, promoting local talent has always been his belief and, as such, he has invited two members of the Music Festival Committee to see the artiste in action.

“I believe he would do great at the upcoming Music Festival and so I invited him to be one of our acts so that the invited guest from the Music Festival Committee can make a decision to have him be one of the local acts,” Parris said.

Also performing onstage will be Mad Squad, Fire House Sounds and Live Wire Sound among others.

Tickets for the party can be had at Club Kactus for EC$40 each and EC$50 at the gate, which will be opened from 8:30 p.m.
