BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IT was the riveting delivery by two local acts that had a crowd of hundreds asking for more, as they were given a shot to perform in the upcoming 2014 St. Kitts Music Festival.
According to Kactus Entertainment’s CEO Romeo Parris, Trebler and Hi-Light were invited to perform at the club’s reopening show, dubbed Secrets/Nobody has to Know, which was headlined by Jamaican Artiste
According to Parris, the two young men were given the opportunity to perform at the show in order for two invitees from the Carnival Committee to see and hear if they are eligible to be in the line-up for this year’s Music Festival.
Trebler, in his 30-minute performance, did not attract the audience he might have expected, due to the fact that most of the patrons showed up after his act was completed. However, based on his overall performance, he may stand a chance of being in the line-up for the Music Festival.
On the other hand, when Hi-Light went onstage he left his audience of hundreds asking for more, and their loud screams had prompted Kranium’s manager to give him an extra five minutes to belt another song.
Since the two artistes’ performance, there has been no word from the Music Festival Committee.
