GET SET for an action packed BLACK SAN’ weekend!!

    SANDY POINT, St. Kitts and Nevis (April 16, 2014)  --   BLACK SAN’ promises an explosive week of entertainment, high octane fetes and fun for everyone. Organizers have promised a fusion of bashes and parties, with a spectacular slate of events, expected to draw thousands to the town of Sandy Point.

     

    Thursday’s (April 17th) event is one for the entire community as it’s the 4th Annual SPIRIT game Show which features the crowd pleasing Rams Price is Right, the Minute to Win it and the presenters have added a brand new ‘COUPLES GAME’ sponsored by Essence Hair & Nail Salon with a grand prize of EC$1000 to be won at the Sandy Point Hard Court! This event continues to be a family favorite at Black San’s as it provides opportunities to win impressive prizes compliments Rams Trading Ltd, just by walking through the gate. Promoters anticipate a packed audience so all are encouraged to be early!

    Good Friday (April 18th, 2014), promises to be a special treat for all football fanatics! Come on out and witness entertaining football action in the first ever Red Bull sponsored BLACK SAN’ Cup, the action kicks off at 10:00 AM at The Old Playing Field in Sandy Point with a knock out style tournament featuring eight (8) teams fielding nine players each and competing for a cash prize.     This week’s exciting calendar, boasts events from jaw dropping swimsuit pageants to regional entertainers and from family outings to J’ouvert fetes:  a mix that is said to have a bit of something for everyone! This comes as no surprise, as the festival continues to deliver unique surprises!

    Not to be outdone will be this Saturday’s SKNVibes Appleton Knockshore Night as four stages at the Sandy Point Hard Court will erupt with music festival style performances from musical heavyweights Nu Vybes Int’l, Small Axe & Kollision bands, Hard Core Performers- Imark, Collin Wyatt & Infamus as well as this year’s featured event-the Magnum DJ Clash. BLACK SAN’ RUMBLE is one of the most anticipated events on the 2014 BLACK SAN’ calendar and also features Sound Clash Giants- Wardadli Souljahs from out of Antigua as special clash referees inside of a real boxing ring! DJs prepare to defend yourself or GET KNOCKED OUT! Gates open at 9:00pm SHARP.  

    “We are making a serious attempt at developing the DJ Sound Clash into a regional spectacle, and this year in an effort of adding to the overall product we will have the magnum DJ Clash taking place inside of a real boxing ring! This has never been seen anywhere else in the federation!  We also continue to make a concerted effort of ensuring that our events remain affordable, hence the cover fee is just EC$35 by ticket!” said Amos Francis- Knock shore Night Coordinator

    Six stunning contestants are poised to dazzle the audience at this year’s LIME Ms. Black San swim suit pageant on Sunday 20th April, as they compete in jaw dropping segments inclusive of body painting. Last year’s event was indeed memorable and with the addition of regional soca sensation Lioness backed by the KC5 Band as guest performer, the pageant coordinators promises that this year’s event will not be a disappointment!  Show time is at 8:00pm. All this and much more for just EC$30 by ticket.

    The fun doesn't yet end! For the street revelers who never get bored of carnival carefree celebration, BLACK SAN J'ouvert jam on Monday April 20this what's happening! This year’s J’ouvert will climax at Fig Tree for the start of the BLACK SAN’ Beach Fete.
