But you, you are a replica of our dad, the late…..

You have proven yourself…like him, you are a great leader.
LEADER! A name that was not made for all,
You were designed from the time you were small.
“Believe me my child”, we could hear our father say,
“For you, little one, I’ll do all to make the way”.
And so he did- He opened that gate,
He nurtured and provided a way to educate…
EDUCATE! Not only you, but all and sundry,
He sacrificed his life for everybody.
He lived, not fully, but took his leave early,
So that you could take the helm …..eventually.

Like no other leader, you have represented…

In statue, in knowledge, in eloquence…ALL!
You have carried your friends, oppressors, the whole nation, on your shoulder,
You have given chances to all - you’ve been a father,
A brother, adviser, friend, supporter…
But most of all, you are an accomplished and recognized LEADER!
