BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A three-vehicle accident that occurred last evening (Apr. 21) has left the vehicles extensively damaged, but there is no word as to the severity of injuries to the drivers.

According to Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David, the accident occurred at 6:25 p.m. last evening on the Island’s main Road in the vicinity of Keys Village.

The accident, he said, involved motorcar P188 which was being driven from Basseterre to Cayon and motorcar P4671 which was travelling in the opposite direction.

He said P188 drove passed motor jeep PA1254 which was parked on the mountainside of the road and, while doing so, collided with P4671.

David said the drivers of both motorcars were taken to the JNF General Hospital for medical treatment but could not state whether or not they were warded or discharged.

The three vehicles were damaged to some extent and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
