BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - IN light of the situation affecting the Basseterre High School, SKNVibes, on a number of occasions, tried to reach Education Minister the Hon. Nigel Carty for a comment but was unsuccessful.
However, it was later learnt that the Minister’s unavailability was due to an alleged surgery that he underwent at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.
A source informed that Sen. Carty was seen in a private ward at the medical institution, having had surgery last Tuesday (Apr. 22) but was discharged on Friday (Apr. 25).
Numerous efforts to reach Sen. Carty via telephone were futile and up to press time this publication was unable to speak to the Minister for a comment and/or reassurance that all is well with him health-wise.
However, SKNVibes wishes him a speedy recovery and all the best in his future endeavours.
