BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – WITH just two days to go before the official opening of the St. Kitts Music Festival, preparations for the mega nights are almost complete as erection of the stage, fitting of lights and testing of sound systems are completed.

SKNVibes Entertainment paid a visit yesterday (Jun. 23) to the Warner Park Football Stadium, where it met with the Head of the Production and Artiste Selection Committees, Adrian Lamb, who explained that the construction process began last Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

Lamb also explained that there are 26 local workers on site in addition to 12 others from Rent-A-Amp, a sound and lights company from Trinidad and Tobago.

He further explained that the mega stage from the twin-island Republic is 60 feet wide and 40 feet long, adding that the entire venue could accommodate 7 000 people.

Lamb also revealed that the final lights and sound check were completed last night.

He was however unable to disclose the cost for the entire construction project.
