BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 8th, 2014 -- Shane Degrasse of West Street, Newtown was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply.
Dwight Dore of Downing Street, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Simple Wounding, Assault and Threatening Language, which were committed on 4 July 2014 at Downing Street.
Serene Phillip of Upper Monkey Hill was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Larceny by the Servant, which was committed between 20th and 21st August 2013.
Steadroy Jeffrey of Tabernacle Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Driving Without An Insurance Policy or Such security In Respect of a Third Party Risk, which was committed 23 June 2014.
Yotsowadee "Diane" Sitimalik of Boyd's Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence Fraud, which was committed on 3 March 2014.
Jermaine Merritt of Cardin Avenue was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Larceny From The Person, which were committed on Monday 30 June 2014.
Akeem Elliott and Leon Prentice both of Newton Ground were formally arrested and charged for the offences of Battery, Assault, and Armed With An Offensive Weapon, which were committed 1 July 2014 at Newton Ground.
Carlton Tyson of Jessups Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 3 July 2014 at Cotton Ground.
Makwan Jaff of Frigate Bay was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Driving Without a Valid Driver's License and Insurance, which were committed on 3 July 2014.
COURT CONVICTIONS
DISTRICT "A" MAGISTRAE'S COURT
Mak Van Jaff was convicted for the offences of Driving Without a Policy of Insurance and Driving Without a Valid Driver's License, which were committed on 3 July 2014, and fined fined $750.00 for Driving Without a Policy of Insurance which is to be paid in twenty one (21) days or in default will serve two (2) months in prison, and $350.00 for Driving Without a Valid Driver's License which is to be paid in fourteen (14) days or in defult will serve two (2) months in prison.
DISTRICT "B" MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Vanceroy French of Saddlers Village was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 9 December 2013 at Saddlers, and fined $700.00 which is to be paid by 25 July 2014, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.
Courtney Thompson alias "I-Chet" of Halfway Tree Village was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 26 December 2012 at West Farm village, and fined $1000.00 which is to be pid by 31 August 2014, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.
George Dushene of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 26 December 2012 at West Farm village, and fined $800.00 which is to be paid by 30 August 2014, or, in default will serve thirty (30) days in prison with hard labour.
