BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A juvenile is reportedly assisting police on Nevis with their investigation into an attempted bombing of the Charlestown Police Station.

According to Nevis Pages, around 10:30 a.m. yesterday (July 8), workers in proximity of the Charlestown Police Station heard a loud explosion which was later revealed to have been caused by an explosive device thrown at the back of the station.

The media house also reported that a juvenile was in custody assisting police with their investigation into the incident.

As of late, a number of crimes have been committed on Nevis with the latest being the armed robbery of Nevis Supply Office, and two weeks ago bandits had robbed the Bank of Nova Scotia Branch in Charlestown of an undisclosed sum of money.
