    ARRESTS

     

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 10th, 2014  --  Roosevelt Dore of Stapleton Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Wounding, which was committed on 23rd May 2014.

    COURT CONVICTIONS

    District "B" Magistrate Court

    Joel Caesar of Molineaux/Half Way Tree was convicted for the offences of Driving Without Seatbelt and Driving With the Front Passenger Not Wearing Seatbelt which were committed on 14th May 2013, and fined $100.00 for each charge which are to be paid by 31st July 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.

    Lyndon Rouse of Saddlers/Sandy Point was convicted for the offences of Driving Without Seatbelt and Driving With The Front Passenger Not Wearing Seatbelt which were committed on 1st August 2013 at Sandy Point, and fined $100.00 for each charge which are to be paid by 31st July 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.  

    Glenroy Mons of Molineaux/Old Road was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Seatbelt which was committed on 3rd October 2014 at Sandy Point, and fined $100.00 which is to be paid by 31st July 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.

    Romeo Richardson of Saddlers Village was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Wearing Seatbelt which was committed on 30th October 2013, and fined $100.00 which is to be paid by 18th July 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.

    Kazan Stevens of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Riding A Bicycle Without A Bell, or, A Warning Device which was committed on 14th November 2013 at Sandy Point, and fined $100.00 which is to be paid by 11th July 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.

    Diquan Richardson of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Riding A Bicycle Up A One Way Street, and fined $100.00 which is to be paid by 18th July 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison. 

    THREE PERSONS TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL AS A RESULT OF A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
     
    The Cayon Police Station is investigating a Traffic Accident which occurred along the Island Main Road at Keys Village in the vicinity of the Ghaut which resulted in three (3) person being transported to the hospital, on Monday 7 July 2014. 

    Initial investigations reveal that motor omnibus HA 42 and motor jeep P 5769 were involved in the traffic accident, motor omnibus HA 42 was travelling from Basseterre to Molineaux and motor jeep P 5769 was travelling towards Conaree direction.
