    ARRESTS

     

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, July 31st, 2014  --  Felicia Hazel of Carifesta Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Larceny and Battery, which were committed on 29th July 2014.

    Police Officers of the Charlestown Police Station acting on information executed a search warrant on the premises of Charmaine Stevens of Happy Hill on Friday 25 July 2014 and a number of pieces of Crack Cocaine were found and taken into police custody along with Keishawn Gilbert and Tianne Stevens all of Happy Hill Alley. They were latter formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent To Supply. Keishawn Gilbert was also formally arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Larceny and one (1) count of Receiving which were also committed on 25th July 2014.

    *COURT CONVICTIONS St. Christopher Circuit Court*

    Ramona Phillip of Fort Thomas Road was convicted for the offence of Building Breaking and Larceny on Wednesday 16 July 2014, and on Friday 25 July 2014 was sentenced to nine (9) months suspended sentence.  She is to keep the peace for one (1) year and if the condition is breached, she will serve the suspended sentence in prison along with the sentence for the breach.

    *District "C" Magistrate Court*

    Keishawn Gilbert of Happy Hill Drive was convicted for the offence of Possession of Crack Cocaine, which was committed on 25th July 2014, and sentenced to two (2) years in prison.

    Gevon Hendrick of Gingerland was convicted for the offence of Battery, which was committed on 6th June 2014 at Fountain Hill, and fined $1000.00 which is to be paid in six (6) months or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.
