Kittitian Beauty makes Miss International Top 15

Press Release

August 13th, 2014 -- On August 1st 2014, Miss Stacey Greene won the hearts of the judges while competing among 50 women for the coveted Miss International Pageant Preliminaries held in Jacksonville, Florida.

On the following day, August 2nd, the Kittitian born beauty advanced to the top 15 where she ably presented her powerful platform, "Dance your Dance; Improving Lives Through Dance Therapy." Worthy of mention is the fact that Stacey was the ONLY non-US representative to make it to the top 15. She was in spectacular form and her poise, intellect and charm did not go unnoticed by the judges, hence her strong showing at the prestigious pageant.

Stacey has been a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher for the past 12 years. She has served as the first student tutor for the Fireflies Dance School, tutor at the ViVace Teen Academy, a part-time tutor with The Children’s Dance Theatre, and senior member of the ViVace Dance Company.

As Miss St. Kitts and Nevis International, Stacey has devoted the past year to introducing more children and adults to the power of dance therapy as a tool for personal growth, and a doorway to developing positive self-esteem, confidence and self acceptance.

The final results of the Miss International night were as follows:

Queen: Samantha Riddle, Miss West Coast International.

1st runner up: Jessica Jacksa, Miss Illinois International.

2nd runner up: Alycia Darby, Miss California International.

3rd runner up: Lily Wu, Miss Kansas International.

4th runner up: Gabrielle Taylor, Miss Minnesota International.

Stacey extends sincere thanks to all who made her pageantry journey an exciting reality.

Stacey vows to continue her dance advocacy and to strive to be an ambassador whose work exemplifies the beloved twin island nation from which she hails.
