August 16th, 2014 -- A parcel of land located at 350 acre development, Beaumont Park valued at over US $400,000 will be awarded to the Man of the Tournament of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League Tournament this year.
The announcement was made yesterday (Aug 15) and CPL CEO, Damien O’Donohoe said the prize demonstrates the support that St. Kitts has offered the tournament. ““This is a most amazing prize for the Man of the Tournament and testament to the support of the people and businesses across St Kitts and Nevis for CPL, for which, on behalf of the entire CPL family, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks.”
Vice President of Beaumont Park, Arthur Sharpe, said; “We are thrilled to welcome the Limacol CPL to St Kitts and be able to showcase our beautiful island to the rest of the world. We are proud to be offering this top prize to the Man of the Tournament, a chance to be part of the one of the most exclusive developments on the island and with that, a chance to enjoy St Kitts for many more years to come.”
Mr Sharpe will present the prize to the winner during the post-match presentation following the final game on Saturday (Aug 16) between the Barbados Tridents and the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
The Man of the Tournament winner is decided by a closed voting system by each of the six team mentors, Sir Viv Richards, Sir Curtly Ambrose, Sir Andy Roberts, Courtney Walsh, Desmond Haynes and Gordon Greenidge.
