Dynamic Trinidad and Tobago Youth Social and Political Activist among featured speakers at this Weekend’s historic Y.O.U (Youth of UNITY) Conference

    Basseterre, St.Kitts (Youth of UNITY)  --  Dynamic Youth Social and Political Activist, Analyst and Media Personality Sherwyn Williams from Trinidad and Tobago is scheduled to be one of the featured speakers at this weekend’s historic Youth of UNITY Conference to be held on Saturday August 23rd at the OOJJ’s Conference Center.

     

    Williams  has been involved in Trinbago politics over the past 10 plus years . He is a Former Vice President of the United National Youth Congress of Trinidad and Tobago. He began his political career back in  2001 in the  local government election where he functioned  as a campaign manager. Since then Williams has been on the political scene in the Two island Republic. He was the campaign manager for the  Congress of the People (COP) in the 2007 general elections and then ran on the UNC ticket in the 2010 general elections.
     
    His community and social work in Trinidad and Tobago is well known and documented. 
     
    Williams is also a very popular media personality hosting his own radio Talk show on 91.1 FM Talk City in Trinidad and also serves as a Communications Officer for the Ground Report Media Group.
                                       
    The young Mr Williams has a passion for Country and people. He has been working in the community over the past 10 years with a vision of building a better Trinidad and Tobago for future generations to come.
     
    Sherwyn has served as the President of the Chinapoo Government Prime School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) in Trinidad for 3 years, President of the Coconut Drive Inter community football league for 6 years and is currently the Chairman of the Dennis Lawrence Community Development Program.  Chairman of Youth Organised United to Help Trinidad & Tobago (YOUTH TT) and PRO of In The Drive Inc. Have work with many other groups on social programs aim to developing communities and bring a new social order for the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
     
    Williams joins Vincentian Senator Attorney Vynnette Frederick and Team UNITY Candidate and PAM Deputy Leader Jonel Powell as the featured speakers at this weekends historic Youth of UNITY Conference.
