BASSETERRE St. Kitts, August 22nd, 2014 -- Deputy Leader of the People’s Action Movement Jonel Powell is inviting the nation’s youth to this weekend’s historic Y.O.U (Youth of UNITY) Convention.
Powell declared “I want to invite every single youth in our federation to this Saturday’s historic youth convention. Whether you between the ages of 15 and 35 or you are simply young at heart the convention will provide you with an excellent forum and environment to be inspired and educated.”
“The Convention is being organized to provide a forum to facilitate the inspiration of our Nation’s youth to pursue an active role in molding the shape of our society and nation whether socially or politically. It will also provide an opportunity for young people to articulate their concerns regarding their own development and the development of the country on a whole and also provide ideas and suggestions that will be considered in the Youth Development Policy of the new Team UNITY Government moving forward,” said Powell
“The organizers have assembled a brilliant array of presenters who through education and life experiences are well equipped to impart knowledge and inspire our young people to strive for excellence and to take a much more active role in the development of their country.,” the popular Young Attorney stated.
Powell is one of four young dynamic featured speakers at the inaugural Y.O.U Youth of UNITY Convention. The very popular Team UNITY PAM Candidate for Central Basseterre is expected to outline some of the key initiatives in the Youth Policy of the new historic Team UNITY Government
