Strong SKN squad named for Caribbean Cup

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A strong 20-man squad to represent the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis was announced today (Sept. 2) ahead of the kick-off of Group Six in the 2014 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Caribbean Cup.

     

    Team St. Kitts/Nevis will host St. Lucia, Dominica and Guyana on September 3, 5, 7 as all make an effort to move on to the 2014 CFU Caribbean Cup final round.

     

    The first match day is scheduled for tomorrow (Sept. 3) and is expected to see Guyana facing Dominica and St Kitts/Nevis taking on St Lucia.

     

    This morning public relations consultant for the St. Kitts Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) Val Henry announced the members of the 20-man squad on ZIZ radio that will be charged with representing the Federation for the next three games.

     

    The team is led by Head Coach Geoffrey Hazel and will see some nine oversees-based players return to represent the Federation.

     

    The squad is: Kyron Phillip, Orlando Mitchum, Jason St. Juste, Josh Leader, Tishan Hanley, Julani Archibald, Zeph Thomas, Tesfa Robinson, Rovan Wigley, Romaine Sawyers, Jamal Francis, Mudassa Howe, Trezan Leader, Erroll O’loughlin, Devaughn Elliot, Karim Mithchum, Attis Hughes, Atiba Harris, Kennedy Isles and Gerrad Williams.

     

    Henry also announced that the squad is already in camp at their hotel and are doing final preparations for tomorrow’s kick-off.
