TDC Group strengthens relationship with the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force through Corporate Donation

    Basseterre, St. Kitts September 8, 2014 - The on-going efforts of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have once again received the support of the TDC Group of Companies, through the donation of a brand new LG Electronics refrigerator.

     

    In a brief but significant handing over ceremony, Ms. Jonelle Rawlins-Drew, handed over the appliance value at over eighteen hundred dollars to Mr. Stafford Liburd, Deputy Commissioner of Police, where it will be used by the Communications Unit.

     

    In her remarks, Ms. Drew noted that following a formal request, the Company saw it fit to honour the appeal to help improve the day-to-day operations of the department. She also emphasized the Company’s pledge to continue to back the efforts of the Police in combating crime and its related activities.

     

    In accepting the contribution, Deputy Commissioner Liburd, expressed words of appreciation to the local business house for the appliance and spoke of the longstanding partnership between both institutions.

     

    “On behalf of the Commissioner, the other rank and file of the Royal St. Christopher Police Force, and this Unit, we express our appreciation to TDC for your on-going interest in our endeavours. Your contribution signifies the confidence that you have placed in us, as we continue to protect and serve our people.  Moreover, this gesture is a testimony of the relationship that we have long established and will continue to uphold.

     

    Over the years, the leading business house has endorsed a number of initiatives organised by the law enforcement agency, including several in-house training seminars, Community Patrol Service Assistance, and the Buckle Up Seat Belt Campaign.
