September 15, 2014 - Javell Leon Leader of Molyneaux Extension who escaped police custody on Friday 27 June 2014 and was in hiding from police since his escape, surrendered to officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), accompanied by his Lawyer, on Monday 8 September 2014. At the time of his escape he was arrested for the offence of Fraud which was committed on 29th July 2013 at Inland Revenue.
He was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Fraud which was committed 29 July 2013 and Escaping Lawful Custody which was committed on 27 June 2014.
Commissioner C G Walwyn therefore takes this opportunity to thank all those persons who were instrumental in the surrender of Javell Leon Leader, including the media houses.
