Basseterre, St. Kitts – September 25, 2014 (SCASPA): The St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) has partnered with Windsor University to host a Health Check Day on Friday, September, 26, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and Deep Water Port in Bird Rock.
The event, which has been planned with a holistic health focus, is part of the Authority’s 21st Anniversary celebration.
The following services will be offered to members of the general public: general health surveys including personal and family health history; vital signs examination which includes blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate examinations; basic head to toe assessments; systemic functions examinations which include cardiovascular and respiratory systems; blood glucose testing and counseling on nutrition, contraception, smoking cessation, alcohol abuse, physical activity, and other health promotion topics.
Members of the general public are invited to participate in this FREE health check.
