September 30, 2014 - Deputy Premier and Minister of Natural Resources and Labour Dr. The Honourable Kedrick Pickering cut the ribbon at the Opening Ceremony for the much anticipated, educational and informative Climate Change Exhibition. The exhibition commenced on Monday September 29 and will conclude on Wednesday October 1. The activity is a collaborative effort between the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and is being held in the East Atrium of the Central Administration Building. The public will be provided with information on adapting strategies for climate change, tips on how to minimize impacts on health, property and the lives of individuals. The exhibition is a prelude to the inaugural meeting of the OECS Council of Ministers of Environmental Sustainability, which is scheduled for October 1. (Photo Credit/GIS)
